I wanted to write a welcome to this workshop, but struggled. I then wrote the following email to my business manager:
Today I went to a local coffee shop, sat by the window, took out a blank sheet of paper, and my intention was to write a welcome for the workshops. Just a page, a few paragraphs, summarizing the hard work and dedication that has been put into the workshops, and how we are fully committed in supporting the person reading it towards their path towards excellence. But after a few hours, my cup was empty, and so was my paper.
Every time I thought of how much it meant that we are helping people transform their lives, the emotions got the best of me. I thought about all the late nights, the seminars attended all over the country, the countless books read, the hundreds of hours of CD’s listened to, all the hard work and dedication, and how all of that seems so small compared to knowing that we are helping people know that it’s ok to dream again. And how this has NEVER been about us, but always about them.
I guess I just want people to know that it has rained on us, we’ve seen some dark times, but we are still here. There is hope, no matter how distant it may seem, there is hope. Life is the most valuable thing we will ever have, and everyone deserves an amazing life. I want them to know that just by attending the seminar, they are already stronger than they thought that they were. There will be struggles, self-conflict, doubt, breakdowns, but that we will be right there, side by side, because if we can’t be there for someone who reaches out to us, what gives us the right to ask for help when we need it? I want them to know that this isn’t us as the teachers and them as the students, but this is us, together, as human beings, trying to make the world a better place!
Maybe without even trying to, I just wrote the introduction right now…
Our leadership team has had the great fortune to be able to attend hundreds of hours of workshops all accross the US. When we designed these workshops, there were a few features that were very important to us. We wanted to make it a safe, where you can be assured everything will remain 100% confidental. We wanted to make sure that each seminar would build on the foundations of the previous one. We wanted to creat a fun enviornment, where lessons are learned through interaction and not hours of lecture. And most importantly, we wanted to create workshops where everyone felt that they were an equal contributo to everyone’s success.
We encourage everyone to attend these workshops. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to fill out the form below and someone from our Leadership Team will contact you within 24 hours.
