Be honest, you have to do some research, find a phone number, get directions, or write a paper about the migratory patterns of the Yellowlegs Bird, and the first thing you do is check the internet. Almost all of my information, from emails, pictures, music, calendars, documents, spreadsheets, are all on the internet. I can go to any computer in the world, and be sitting at my desktop and it’s incredible.
I also do all of my banking, credit cards, stocks, and purchasing on the internet. So I was very concerned with security and how to keep myself safe. Odds are if you are 87% of the world, you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
You are among the 87% of the population who deals with pop-ups, viruses, spyware, and other security headaches, or “features” as Microsoft calls them. What are the majority of the other 13% using? Mozilla FireFox.
You may have heard about it, but not known what it is or how to get to it, or even how to use it. They couldn’t have made it easier. They import all of your bookmarks, passwords, and other settings that were stored in Internet Explorer. What are some of the benifits to using Firefox?
- Built-in spell checker
- Pop-up blocker
- Tabs (A real cool feature once you use it)
- Session restore (Firefox remembers the website you were at)
- Automatic updates
- much more.
Download it right now by clicking on the button bellow and you will soon be on your way to a safer internet experience.
